As with the cattle we raise, our relationship at Shady Pine Farm with our Community Supported Agriculture shareholders is close and direct. It provides you consistent reassurance that you know what you are feeding your family and where it comes from. Your purchase of shares assures you of a supply of naturally raised cattle products and sustains the local farming community that can best produce such healthful products.

It works this way:

• You agree to a set purchase price for a six-month or year-long share of a certain amount of beef and pork by signing a contract with us. Shares range from 10 to 25 pounds per month.

• Then you pick up and pay for that quantity monthly. Pickup points are at Shady Pine Farm in New Braintree or in Worcester, Douglas, Melrose and Bedford. See our monthly pickup schedule.
